Introduction
The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy: Vogons. They are one of the most unpleasant races in the galaxy. Not actually evil, but bad-tempered, bureaucratic, officious, and callous. They wouldn't even lift a finger to save their own grandmothers from the ravenous Bug-Blatter Beast of Traal without orders signed in triplicate, sent in, sent back, lost, found again, queried, subjected to public inquiry, lost and finally buried in soft peat for three months and recycled as firelighter. On no account should you allow a Vogon to read poetry to you.
I wont tell you the entire story about why this article is so late, but lets just say that the orders to save the Vogons grandmother from the ravenous Bug-Blatter Beast of Traal didnt go through anywhere near the trouble
Finally, and Ive never been more pleased to say this, without further ado, here are the results of the Open Tools API contest that was supposed to have been announced on August 2nd, 2004.
The Good Thing is that the 1st Place Winner got a much more powerful TabletPC than originally planned, and the 2nd and 3rd Place Winners got Delphi 2006 Architect (instead of C#Builder or Delphi 8 I told you it was late). The prizes have all been shipped and received.

3rd Place
Winner Marc Rohloff - Favourites Menu for C# Builder and Delphi for .NET
Favorites Menu is an expert that adds a 'favourites' submenu to the file menu in C# Builder. The submenu contains items for all your favourites that have already been memorized as well as options to add the currently active file and project. There is also a dialog for more advanced configuration including reordering and adding separators and shortcut keys to the submenu.

Figure 4: As you can see, Favourites Menu works great in BDS 2006 as well!
